STORYLINE

After Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel defies the Supreme Intelligence and destroys it, she faces the unintended consequences: a destabilized universe. Whisked away by a bizarre wormhole connected to a Kree revolutionary, she finds her powers entangled with two others:

Kamala Khan, a young Jersey City resident and fervent admirer of Ms. Marvel.

Carol's estranged niece, Monica Rambeau, now Captain Rambeau, a S.A.B.E.R. astronaut soaring through the cosmos.

The three women, suddenly linked by their powers, must learn to work together as they become embroiled in a conflict that threatens the entire universe.

Dar-Benn, the new leader of the Kree, seeks to restore their desolate homeworld by manipulating the Quantum Bands. Her actions tear open portals that siphon resources from other planets, including the Skrull refugee colony on Tarnax.

The Marvels must unite to stop Dar-Benn and prevent the universe from falling into chaos. Their journey takes them to various planets and forces them to confront their own pasts and relationships.

In the end, the three women find strength in their newfound connection and emerge as a powerful team ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead.

The film also sets the stage for future stories in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The mid-credits scene reveals that Monica Rambeau has been transported to a parallel universe where she encounters alternate versions of her mother, Maria, and the mutant scientist Dr. Hank McCoy.
